Stars Suite

With Language Enabler 5.0, you can Enter , Edit, and View Arabic Data inside Microsoft Applications. You also get Prayer Times, Hijri Calendar, Arabic English bidirectional dictionary, Tarjim, XMS and Finger Clix. Language Enabler 5.0 "Enables" the Following Microsoft Applications to work in Arabic: Pocket Word, Pocket Excel, Tasks, Calendar, Contacts, Notes. Inbox email, and SMS(send and receive SMS , and e-mail in Arabic). Arabic SMS is available only with MDA Vario III 2002 MDA Vario III Edition devices e.g., XDA and QTek. Pocket Internet Explorer (for Browsing Arabic Sites). Arabic MSN Messenger (Chat with your friends worldwide in Arabic).

Hijri Calendar

Hijri Calendar has the following features:

• You can schedule appointments and events using a Hijri calendar.


• A year view higlighting appointments and holidays specific to your country.


• A separate view for Holidays.


• A convenient Gregorean equivelant to Hiri dates is provided through the Calendar control available in Day and Agenda views.


• Full synchronization with Microsoft Arabic Outlook Calendar.

Prayer Times

• Includes prayer times for more than 400 cities in more than 90 countries. You can even add new cities.


• Support for daylight saving.


• You can choose between the five standard calculation methods.


• A calendar control is provided in both Hijri and Gregorean systems.


• Includes a today item showing you the next prayer time.


• An alarm option is provided to remind you using Moazen voice.


• A compass for guiding you to Qibla direction.

Finger Clix

• Make phone calls, keep track of calls, and send SMS messages using one hand only


• Search for contacts by pressing the letters of any word component his name.


• You can lookup and dial from your Call History.

Arabic-English bidirectional dictionary

• Arabic words and meanings are viewed in a right aligned list to facilitate proper reading.


• A quick search; as you type it takes you directly to the first matching word.

Tarjim

• A simple intuitive exciting Drag-and-Translate feature.


• To translate any displayed English text to Arabic.


• Works transparently on any application.

XMS

The new wave of SMS messaging:

• Send colored handwriting messages using SMS protocol.


• Add exciting emoticons and insert animated winks to text messages.


• Select font/background colors in the text message.


• An option to send the message as MMS for non XMS-compliant devices.
